Internship Overview:

Cyber Privilege Pvt. Ltd. is offering a dynamic opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in the field of cyber forensics. Our 3-month internship program provides hands-on training and exposure to real-world cyber investigations, equipping interns with valuable skills and insights into the fascinating realm of digital forensics.

Stipend: First 60 Days Training with No Stipend & Next 30 Stipend Depends on the Work Performance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: As a Cyber Forensics Specialist with Additional Roles , your primary responsibilities will include:

Cyber Forensics Real time work assignments with Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA), etc

Cyber forensics demands a multifaceted skill set to effectively navigate the complexities of digital investigations. Beyond traditional forensic techniques, proficiency in various roles such as Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), Social Media Intelligence (SOCMINT), Geographic Intelligence (GEOINT), and business due diligence is indispensable. Moreover, conducting Geospatial Analysis, Corporate Intelligence, Geopolitical monitoring, Physical Security Assessment, and Terrorism Analysis are essential components. Here's a breakdown of each:

1. Techniques and Procedures (TTPs):

- Understanding the methods, tactics, and procedures used by threat actors.

- Proficiency in identifying, analyzing, and documenting various TTPs to attribute cyber incidents accurately.

- Staying updated with evolving TTPs to effectively counter cyber threats.

2. Social Media Intelligence (SOCMINT):

- Leveraging social media platforms for intelligence gathering in cyber investigations.

- Analyzing digital footprints, user behaviors, and communication patterns on social media platforms.

- Utilizing advanced search and monitoring tools for extracting actionable intelligence.

3. Geographic Intelligence (GEOINT):

Integrating geographical data into forensic analysis for enhanced insights.

Using geospatial tools and technologies to visualize and analyze digital evidence in a geographic context.

Understanding how geographical factors influence cyber incidents and threat landscapes.

4. Business Due Diligence:

Conducting thorough assessments of organizations' cybersecurity posture and vulnerabilities.

Evaluating the financial, legal, and reputational risks associated with cyber incidents.

Implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.

In addition to these roles, proficiency in conducting:

Geospatial Analysis:

Analyzing geographic data to uncover spatial patterns, correlations, and anomalies.

Integrating geospatial analysis with cyber forensic investigations for comprehensive insights.

Utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools and techniques effectively.

Corporate Intelligence:

Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information related to corporate entities.

Assessing competitive landscapes, market dynamics, and strategic risks.

Providing actionable intelligence to support decision-making processes within organizations.

Geopolitical Monitoring:

Monitoring geopolitical events and trends to anticipate potential cyber threats.

Understanding the geopolitical context of cyber incidents and threat actors' motivations.

Incorporating geopolitical analysis into cyber threat intelligence frameworks.

Physical Security Assessment & Terrorism Analysis:

Evaluating physical security measures to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.

Analyzing terrorist threats and tactics to anticipate potential cyber-physical attacks.

Collaborating with physical security teams to develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.

In conclusion, proficiency in cyber forensics requires a diverse skill set encompassing traditional forensic techniques along with expertise in TTPs, SOCMINT, GEOINT, and business due diligence. Additionally, conducting geospatial analysis, corporate intelligence, geopolitical monitoring, physical security assessment, and terrorism analysis are critical components for effective cyber investigative processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in conducting digital investigations to identify, collect, preserve, and analyze electronic data for legal purposes.

2. Work closely with senior forensic analysts to examine digital evidence using forensic tools and techniques.

3. Document findings and prepare detailed reports to support investigative findings and legal proceedings.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and provide timely support in forensic investigations.

5. Stay updated on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the field of cyber forensics to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.

2. Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems.

3. Familiarity with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, or similar.

4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

6. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

7. Ethical mindset and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Conducting regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in our systems and networks.

Implementing and managing security measures to protect our organization's digital assets from cyber threats.

Performing forensic analysis on digital evidence to support investigations into security incidents or breaches.

Collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cybersecurity.

Providing guidance and support to colleagues on cybersecurity best practices and procedures.

1 holiday is allowed in a month, Total 12 Holidays in a year.

"Employees are expected to adhere to the standard working hours from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. throughout the year. Our company operates 24/7/365 days. Therefore, employees are entitled to one holiday per month. This means that individuals are required to work either remotely or at the office without taking any leaves for the duration of the year."

Policy on Absences during Internship:

Please note that any intern who is absent for 1 Day of the entire internship period will be considered as "not working properly." In such cases, the issuance of internship letters and the payment of stipulated stipend will not be granted.

Attendance Policy Update: only One Day Leave per Month will be Considered a Violation.

Policy on Absences duringEmployee:

Starting next month, any employee who misses a day of work without proper notice will be considered in violation of company policy and subject to disciplinary action. This includes the possibility of a termination letter and not receiving the stipulated salary as per company terms and conditions and policy. We follow very strict rules and regulations in Attendance Policy.
